Got to love DICE. Four Battlefield games in the works. One is free and the other $15. That and Bad Company 2 along with Battlefield 3 coming eventually.
Meh, not excited. This is definitely not 1942. I wish they made an upgraded 1942 and not a console arcade game. Only 12v12, 3 Classes, and regenerating health and ammo

They even updated BF2 recently ... they're really trying well keeping their games supported
It may not be 1942, and I doubt we will ever see 1942 improved, but I'm sure BF1943 will do its best to recreate the original WW2 version of the Battlefield franchiseMeh, not excited. Guys this game is 15 dollars, thats an incredible deal. This game is going to be so much fun. Not to mention the game will probably end up expanding with community made maps and eventually there will be community mods that add classes and stuff. It will end up being BF 1942 except better graphics and game play and features and its just 15 dollars.... There is not a single ounce of doubt in my mind that this deal should not be passed up.

Try either the BFWII extended mod for BFV or BF Forgotten Heroes for BF2. Great remakes of the 1942 game
BFWII for BFV was amazingly fun i cant wait for this!
It's likely that I haven't purchased those other games to which you are referring to either.
TF2 has spoiled me. There, I said it.
Also, I'd like to point out that not very many people are going to have any idea of how fun this game actual is, let alone if it's amazing or not. There have been many more games in the past that have piqued my interest and showed a LOT of potential, but they turned out horrible. So I didn't purchase them.
I've tried Forgotten Heroes and yeah it is pretty good, but still I think I will find more action in BF1943

I just DL this on the XB360 VIa XBL and The game has lived up to everything i thought , its fairly fast and the classes are all fairly well balenced. The game looks butiful at 1080P and i will probly get for the comp as soon as i can ... I will play this for hours to come
