If the eye was just a little less brilliant, you wouldn't suspect it was a retouch. Very nice work.

Yeah, the eye was the hardest part, in the image it's very glazed over with a grey colour, so I had to bring some more saturation into it, choosing the right colour is the difficult bit,

and I s'pose people really shouldnt be able to guess a retouch so at least I did alright with the skin etc.

Looking good, keep up the good work. Retouching can take a lot of work - which is why I try to shoot it as best I can The skin is looking good, maybe a tad on the yellow side, but looks realistic and young/smooth. The eyes are a little over the top, but that could be what you're going for too.

The only things I'd really add/change would be to smooth and highlight the lips a little more and maybe get rid of a couple of the stray hairs. Very good first go though!
