Yesterday evening was the Fortress Forever event. We picked a nearly empty server, Old Timers #5 Fortress Forever, and proceeded to fill it up, Standing Room Only (had about 14 members in at the peak, with people waiting for slots).

In any case, after the event, I decided to go into their forums and say thanks for their server that we essentially took over . I thought I would share with you guys the response I received from one of their admins.

Note, Old Timers are even more strict on their server rules than we (!) and have a very low membership of admins, requiring everyone to be invited and then voted on by the group. So they're serious about their servers:

I saw you guys in the server last night but was watching the kids, so I couldn't come in to say "Hi".

Welcome to the servers, it's good to see Edge in here. =(eG)= AzzNik used to be a regular in our environment, but we haven't seen him for quite some time. In the last 4 years we've seen 211 edge gamer members and have never once kicked, banned, or even muted one of you. It's nice to have another gaming environment that blends in with other communities and doesn't try to recruit from our servers. You'd be surprised how many groups come in with the intent to garnish new members. Welcome to the environment, you guys are welcome anytime.

thats awesome how the admins say that they have never banned or muted one of us. its great to have another friendly clan that has strict rules like us. as the slogan says: A Mature World Gaming Community. thats what we are. Go eGO!

I actually downloaded FF earlier this week and joined one of their servers. It was a blast when i was there. Its funny that i joined the one server i did earilier in the week. Im currently downloading it on my parents pc so i can play it this weekend.

Great news and showing how well, and respectful =eGO= members are
I would recommend a thank you note to that clan as well for the use of their server and kind words
I am assuming our servers were full (as usual) glad you all had a good time.

If our servers are full when you try a server, why not head over to their server (Old Timers) for a bit and say a thank you, help them fill it up their server.

Just a suggestion, as long as our servers are full, I see no problem with that
