Ello eGO... git here. I play ALOT of Games, i am constantly on my 360 and i play tons of RPG's/FPS's...and generally i am a very very decent gamer. But i just cant seem to get to the "ownage" level on CSS that i can on most other games im generally good at games. but css has really put me to the test lately as far as skill. Counterstrike is a great game... but i cant seem to be getting any better at it =/ i usually do fairly well in pubs. and especially well in crack house pubs =D (my favorite map ever) but whenever i go to scrim with a team i always fail so epically its just sad.

for the past several months of me playing its just been the same =/ i usually keep my KDR at around 1-2 or more on pubs. i usually use an m4,scout,AK... and i use sound to hear everyone... just like everyone else =/

i have seen no improvement in myself in a long time in counterstrike =/

i think i need to start actually scrimming. just force myself to do it until i get used to the usual scrim maps and until i get good.

i usually do well in pubs. so its time to move onto scrimming if i want to ever get better.

eGO's opinion????? how did you get good???? did someone help you?????
need thoughts =/

Go to Basic Training!
Hit up Oldie, frantic.^, seaNNN, KinG Killer, or Cooley.

They'll teach you the ropes.

^ Like he said... Posted at the same time ._.)

yey. i will set up a lesson asap.. or however you do this... =d hmm

just joined the grp.

I just joined myself but let me tell you, go to basic training!
My clan for CS 1.6 a while back also did training nights and that is how I got decent :D.
I've been lookin' to attend one of these mahself *clicks the sig*

I used to suck really badly too. But after playing a lot you just get better, especially if you play the same map over and over again, such as office. A lot of CS is about decision making, and making the right decisions at the right times. And if you don't, then the game will punish you over and over again until you finally get it :/

I'm not sure how much non play time you are wanting to put into this but I've heard that if you record your game play and go back and watch it and see what thing you could have changed that it will help improve your game. Also if you're keeping a 2.0 KDR then those servers arent challenging you enough and it's time to find some bigger fish :-) me personally trying to shake off a 7-8 year rust I barely keep a 1.0 KDR lol so stickin with pubs for a bit :-D good luck! and remember keep it fun!

One of the simplest and pretty effective ways to make you better without practice is to reduce the size of your crosshair especially nice for long distances.

2000 is good till you get used to the size.

ya, i used to use 2500 but swapped to as small as it can get...that does help.
i used to be really good at CSS, and im starting to relearn this myself now...but survival is key.
what i mean by saying that is not to rush in without a care just oh blah blah blah *die*. obviously you can rush, but do so cautiously. its obvious the other team is there, and if you know the map well enough you know the hiding spots...take an extra second to check them and slow down while turning corners etc so you don't run out and expose yourself completely to a death onslaught of raining lead.

join esea. ppl that play there r good and u could learn a thing or two from them

i have been playing CSS for a very long time... i wasnt good at first, over time you just pick up on it

yeah its all about exp.

im still purtty good at css, even though ive been playing mainly dod lately.

i used to game css non stop!

Yeah I had mine at 2000 for the longest time. Jammed it up to 3000 recently.

One important tip
Do not underestimate the radar.
Its there for a reason, learn to use it to your advantage. It seems worthless but learning to use it properly will definitely help you maneuver in tactically sticky situations ;)
