Killing Floor

looks really bad

What????

Are u comparing it to something else??:confused1:

I am running it with video settings everything max, and it looks pretty decent!!

Its not as pretty as other high graphics quality games, but its way fun, 6 people co-op, lots lots of weapon!! what else?? i think it rocks.

Connecting to some servers, and staying connected for more than 15 secs, are the only thing that's giving me problems right now, anything else, is a win!:)

I enjoyed the hour I played, but I'll give my full opinion once I really dig into it, like I did L4D. Still waiting for my SDK suite *sigh*

Is it really worth the $20? I've been trying to save money, but this one looks really good...

So far I'm really enjoying the game. If you play on Beginner the game is boring and no fun. Now if you crank it up even on Normal you are in for a real challenge.

^^This.

The game is actually quite a bit of mindless fun and real bloody. (Goes perfect with a some music) Metal!

No crosshairs FTW! (no HUD either in my case I like it that way :w00t:)

Voice overs though can get annoying at times, especially the lady that sells the weapons. ughhhh! :confused1:

I am glad I bought it.

The game actually makes great use of the unreal engine and has very interesting graphics. It has a real time slow-motion effect and motion blur on impact effect which are pretty cool, and lots of fog and ambient lighting effects that really make the engine shine--not to mention the dark areas that require flashlights. I don't think screenshots can do it justice--check out some of the youtube videos.

Also, insane mode is really, really HARD - I played with a group of friends last night and it definitely requires a mic, staying close together, and welding lots of doors shut. We got through a few waves, but never finished a level. Most of the servers are set on easy right now which makes the game a joke. I would suggest normal and long waves. If you look on the Steam achievements, 0.0% of players have the majority of the beat levels on hard, long waves. We ALMOST beat one this morning. This game is amazing.

^ yeah, ur totally right on that, easy is a joke, u don't even feel the need to stay close to the group cause its to easy to survived on ur own, I haven't tried on normal or even hard, but Ill sure give it a try today.

It looks cool, I've gotta look into the requirements of the game though 'cause I know Bioshock is also based on the Unreal engine and it can't run on my card (needs Shader Model 3.0)
This game looks fun, but not fun enough to upgrade my video card...

If you can run TF2, CSS, DoDS you can run this game. Killing Floor is using Unreal Engine 2.5.

I can run Tf 2 and Dods , but everytime i try to load this game it never does. Even when i try to play solo, i get stuck at the loading screen. Even when it i hit back it said Loading KF menu, it never loaded... guess i cant play it :(
