Cpu coolers

What type of heatsink are you guys using? Im looking for something that is socket 775 compatible, and im curious what everybody prefers. I only have experience with stock intel coolers, and i HATE the locking peg things that hold them down. So what do you have?

Along the same lines... Zalman 9500 non-led... and I run a Scythe Mini Ninja (great for a shorter HSF) on my old socket 478 that sits in my garage...

The stock cooler would be fine if your not going to OC, heck you could OC a little bit with them too. I suggest get a Sunbeamtech Core Contact Freezer, best air cooler out. It's usually $39.99 and has a 120mm fan but the heatpipes directly touch the CPU making it so much more effective versus other $100+ coolers.

As far as I know, most LGA 775 socket CPU fans use the locking pegs to hold them in place, but that's something you only do once.

I use a Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro (with locking pegs).

I've got a Zalman 9500 http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118003 and it works great (also compatible with LGA775). On a non-overclocked AMD Phenom X4 9950 BE, I have an idle CPU temp of 23-26 degrees celsius which is nice (better than the 35-40 with the stock cooler)
