Baiting?

Can I just ask a question about baiting? (Jail Server)

Ok so the t's are in the cage running about, I am standing outside the cage, then a t runs up to the side of the cage and knifes me(from the inside) (somehow you can knife through the cage). I kill them . Then I get called a baiter by everyone including admins. Is this baiting? This has happened to me so many times and I sometimes get kicked? Its not my fault if a t runs up to me and knifes me through the cage. Could someone explain why this is baiting?

baiting is anytime you are to close to the t's and you can be knifed. if in the cage on say dev's, if you are up against the cage or really close to the cage, and a t knifes you, you cannot shoot back because it's your fault that you were close enough to where they can knife you. best advice is never get close to a t period. the only way it's not baiting is if the t has to run at you to knife you, but if your running up to them, or if they are close enough to be able to knife you cause your sitting to close to them, that's baiting in my opinion. Just stay away from any cage they are in, or just stay a good distance from them period. That's the only way to survive as a ct, and not get blamed for baiting. When i am ct and warden, I make sure that all ct's stay away from the t's at all times cause I dont want anyone to be accused of baiting.

yes, as you said, the t had to run up to me to knife me so it wasnt baiting. hopefully the admins that kick me will read this.

I pretty much agree with whats been said, if you are close enought to be knifed then it is your own fault. Just take a few steps back from the cage and the problem will cease to exist.

No lighthunter...you completely missed his point...they were allowed to be anywhere in the cage and you were standing within their knifing range which = baiting

Huh? is saying that if the terrorist had run up to you out of the cage...or while on route somewhere else that wouldnt have been baiting.

Do you see the difference?

i completely agree...if you are close enought to be knifed by a t then you are baiting
