Best movie you've ever seen.

i'm a visceral person so movies like rocky and schindler's list do it for me, but so does 300 and superbad lol

The Dark Knight

followed closely by: Princess Mononoke

Am I the only one whose favorite movie is Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy? ._.

Well second is Max Payne. Although it didn't follow games storyline, it was great.

Jin Roh: Wolf's Brigade.

If you've seen it you'll understand why.

Followed closely by the original Ghost in the Shell and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Anime - Akira (even if it is old, still the best)
Comedy - Stripes (Bill Murray and Harold Ramis)
Drama - Shawshank Redemption

Everyone who did not say Blazing Saddles is wrong.

Caddyshack is a possible second.

I guess The Seven Samurai can be somewhere in the mix.

Also, The Shinning: Best horror movie ever.

Oooooh, Blazing Saddles. Saw part of it when I was like, 7. Really funny. I should watch it all now that I'm older...

It's hard to pick, as there are so many. While my all time favourite is "The Wall," my second favourite is probably the best movie I've ever seen. The direction was amazing, the story was gut wrenching and visceral, the acting was solemn and perfect, and it was a beautiful and disturbing film, and that would be "The Kindhearted Geum-Ja," also known as "Lady Vengeance." It's also one of the few films that manages to make me cry. The emotion surged through the film and in my mind, it was practically perfection. I recommend it to anyone.

Personal favourite is Ghostbusters. I have seen that film a lot.

Also worthy mention to A simple plan. I watched it again recently and it is still as good as when I first saw it.

theres way too many to actually pick one, and more and more coming out every year.
somebody said momento, that was a great movie.
kid classics though, The Goonies and The Princess Bride...inconceivable!
