i would get a bigger HD but other then that this looks good. you would be surprised how fast 320 GB's can go with games. bump it up to 500 HD's wont cost ya too much extra to improve :) Video card a little weak too. but it should run ok but will get out dated fast i would get a 9800

Hell, now you can get the 1tb Western Digital Caviar Black for $94...

9500 isn't that great for gaming. If you could save maybe $50(could be less too), and get a 9800GT, you would be ALOT better off. If you can't do that, at least get 10-20 more bucks and go for the 9600.

This, a 9500 really won't be to great for gaming if you just saved a little extra 9800 GT will give you a lot more performance for a small price.

Cards are rated by there last number aswell as there first number -- So a 8800 might be better than a 9500

Up to you though
 
I would listen to the 3 comments above me and go for the 9800..

Other then that, it'll be a nice build ;)
 
You could get a better HD... 320GB isn't really that big... I struggle with 640GB go for at least 500GB even then... you don't get that much memory, thats how much it has total, not what you can actually save... they say you get 500GB when really you get 465GB... kinda a stinker tbh
 
I had a 250 in my computer and still have 150 gigs left and I have had this computer for a year. that being said I also have another 250 and a 160 that I use for "storage". I guess it depends on that you are storing on the computer. I would say on a side note he can get a 250 and then add on later. Hard Drives have to be the easiest to install even when you do not have any knowledge of computers. I think it was the first thing I learned about computer.
 
I didn't see an OS on there anywhere, but if you go with Vista you're gonna want more than 2 gigs of RAM. I used to run 2 GB with Vista, and it worked fine until I played a game. Vista's piggish ways gave a good swift kick to my previous system's theoretical scrotum.
 
ya if your gameing with vista you should go for 4gb ram but xp should do good with 2gb
 
You darn kids and your massive hard drives. I have a 55GB hard drive and you dont hear me complaining!

suggestions:
if you're gunna stick with the 9500gt (which BTW will play all source games, evenL4D) then the PSU you have is fine, but if you listen to the other replies and do get the 9800gt, then get at least a 650 watt PSU, the 420 watt one that you have will have issues running a 9800gt.

I think the 320 gig hdd is fine, mine is 120gig (110 w/XP instaled) and i still have 86.9 gigs left even after installing l4d,CS:S (:w00t:), tf2, gmod (with addons), vent hamachi, anti virus, and some photos.

processor=epic pwn (intel FTW)

2 ram is fine for vista (i have a laptop w/2gig and vista and it runs fine), plus if you want more then its way cheaper to buy it from a store and install it your self.

But i'd take this PC anyday over what i got:
pentium4 2.4 ghz and geforce 8400gs 512mb, and 512 of ram...:(

just my thoughts, great looking build though.

I would get at least a 500 watt power supply. Ive had a bad experiance with to limited power. If you get a 9800 that requires at least a 650 watt power supply or it fails to work at all.

I'm running an Q6600 and an 8800GT(same thing as the 9800GT, it was a rebrand, although some 9800GT's are 55nm which means LESS power usage), on a 425 watt power supply, no issues whatsoever. I'm also running 2 optical drives, 3 hard drives, 4 sticks of ram, a sound card, a NIC, and all of my USB peripherals.
