Your first game system/console??

Yesterday i decided to do some spring cleaning. While digging through my garage i stumbled across my Atari and Commadore 64. Though it brought back memories of endless days typing in numbers from a computer magazine to make my own games, It did make me feel rather old. (Oregon Trail FTW)

In the spirit of making myself feel that much older (Possibly to the point of crying).. I'd like to know what your first gaming system was.

but if about pc stuff...i think it was the very first red alert game and i followed RA all the way to the 3rd one...gettign the expansions soon

NES(Ninteno Entertainment System) was my first.

Beating Zelda at 3 AM and waking everybody up...classic.

Regular Nintendo (old school NES) was my first console, with super mario bros and super mario 3, dr. mario, battletoads etc..

Atari, then upgraded to a Commadore 64.

and yes, I remember tying in the code that was in those Com64 mags.

Lately, I've regretted selling it way back when to buy my PS1. I kinda want to find a working copy on eBay ^_^

I'm what you call a "late gamer". My first system was technically a PC (old Win95 beige-box), but my first console was a Gamecube. We either couldn't afford stuff like that back then or we actually played outside, used our creative imaginations, rode our bikes, read books, etc. I'm pretty sure it was the latter.
