Your very first FPS Game

Turok dinosaur hunter and 007 golden eye for the N64, both classics in my book.

First fps i ever played was doom, I was way too young to actually play it for real and understand how to play.

First game I really played and understood was TF classic

I'm only 17 and so many newer games being listed here.

Not sure which came first but when a was but a wee child I remember playing DukeNukem3D, ShadowWarrior, CastleWolfenstein3D, DOOM, and (alt-tabbed to find it) Rise of the Triad. I never played, but I watched a family friend play Blood and Blood 2.

Castle Wolfenstein 3D was the first FPS I ever played.

Wolfenstein 3D was up there... That was quickly followed by ROTT (Rise Of The Triad), DOOM, and Duke Nukem.

TECHNICALLY, Top Gun was the first one. It is in first-person perspective, and I got shortly after getting my NES for my birthday all those years ago.

Bungie's Marathon (although Marathon 2 was the best).... Simply an awesome multiplayer game. 15 years ago we had 8 player LAN (although at that time they were called AppleTalk =) parties, real time voice communication, Co-op mode, variety of multiplayer options (king of the hill, kill the man with the ball, as well as team deathmatch), in game music, high levels of mod capabilities and map making tools. Of course the graphics left a little to be desired, but for it's time, it was the best.

Doom but Doom2 with the first online multiplayer game so that one will forever hold a special place. Much different playing against a real human than against a staged computer encounter.

Mine was BlakeStone, check out those high res graphics....LOL!!!

I'd honestly have to say Combat Arms, cuz I had no clue about any other FPS game other than CA at the time, it was VERY good cuz it updated new weapons once a month, and new maps every 2 months, the only thing that SUCKED was the hacker(s). Well, that was my first FPS shooter.

either goldeneye 64 or medal of honor-rising sun. i don't think goldeney counted because i didn't have it until recently. i played i at a friends house.
