The StarCraft II beta-test period is coming in the months ahead! If you'd like a chance to participate, now's the time to let us know. Simply go to the "Beta Profile Settings" page in Battle.net account management to go through the new beta opt-in process and upload a snapshot of your system specs. During this process, you'll also have the opportunity to opt in to future betas for other Blizzard Entertainment games. Please note that even if you've opted in to our betas previously, you'll need to complete this new process and upload your current system specs to have a chance to be invited.

For more information, see the FAQ -- or create a Battle.net account to opt in now. If you have an unused beta code from BlizzCon 2008 or WWI 2008, visit this site to enter your code.

Taken from the World Of Warcraft site from today's news. I am pumped! Let's hope some of us get picked and we can meet in vent and try it out :)

yeah I saw this posted over at kotaku this morning, and immediately opted in :)

anyone know if they decided a a date or a time period in which they will be sending out invites? (probably not as of yet but i just want to make sure)

The SC2 beta opt-in is exciting, but I want a D3 beta more than SC2. D3 looks incredible, and if it is as addicting as D2 was...game over.
 
Wow, I registered for nothing. Says I need to have at least one game attached to my account, I don't have my original SC box or game installed on my computer.

Whoever attempts to make an account to opt-in for SC2 beta and doesn't have a CD key for any blizzard game, don't waste your time creating an account, it won't let you unless you have one.
 
I signed up for all beta testing a week ago when i registered all my games/keys on battle.net
