Should I Get Left 4 Dead or the entire Orange Box?

Somewhat off-topic but same ballpark (within a base): Is the Orange Box really 40 dollars at Wal-Mart? I got it for 30 at Target a while ago. It says 40 on the Wal-Mart site, but I'd suggest checking a store, just in case.

Matter of fact I had a gift card when I decided to buy it too (I'm a Wal-Mart person :P)
 
L4D - One great game that gets old fast
OB - 5 of the Greatest games ever + unlimited entertainment (TF2)
 
I think, in the long run OB would be the better choice. Plus if you ever do get bored of OB, which is unlikely, you can always go ahead and get L4d.

I just see it was a waste of 10 bucks when you CAN get Orange Box for cheaper on steam.
Yes I know Orange Box is worth the money it asks for... but...
Usually when I buy something that I KNOW I can get for cheaper, I end up feeling bad cause I know I could have saved that extra cash
Don't get me wrong, Orange Box is great, but L4D regular price is better in my opinion
 
Go with orange box. Like Hoodie said You will not play l4d as much as you think.
 
i say OB, TF2 is a lot of fun; as for L4D, i didnt much but i thought it was ok (played the demo version >_>).
 
l4d i think is a great game but unless u really wanna play with friends only, i would get OB
 
If you like co-op games get L4D
TF2 is more kill and respawn and can get as repeatative as L4D
The achievement on TF2 are miles better, but you need to work harder on L4D to get those achievements...
Price wise...
It costs ?26 for L4D
And somehing like ?19 for Orange Box
If you want my opinion get the orange box...
More games, more things to do...
 
Counter-Strike: Source... thats the only game you need.. lol.

But if just these two:

Get the orange box, u are destined to like at least one of the games.
 
After you buy the Orange Box you'll feel like a thief because, ITS 5 GAMES IN 1 AND FOR A FAR LOWER PRICE, I'll show ya':

TF2 = $20 USD
HL2 = $20 USD
HL2 EP1 $10 USD
HL2 EP2 = $ 15 USD
and last but not least Portal = $20 USD

...so that sums to: $85 USD!!!
Orange box price: $30 USD
plus the SDK for each one :laugh:

Nothing can beat this (except the offer of $10 USD for the orange box:glare:)

And besides, L4D is 40 bucks...
