You just added the |SS| tag this morning. You were asked to remove it. Your response was WTF. You were then kicked.

The DoD Division no longer has houses. House tags caused much animosity on the servers in the past. There were repeated splinter clans because of the houses. To try to replicate that, with the various "tags" after the names, is in itself a mistake. Doing so means one of two things... You're either trying to unofficially restart the house system, or trying to start your own clan. Since there are no more houses, and recruiting for any thing OTHER than eGO is forbidden on eGO servers, then removing the tag should not be an issue.

You were directed to remove the |SS| tag, and instead, refused. You were kicked from the server, and instead of removing the tag, you went to a different eGO server. Please understand that only Advisors and above will talk to you through Console while you are in game. This was not an attempt to target you, harass you, or do more than stop a mock house system from becoming prolific. Instead of following a clear directive, you argued, came onto the forum to post this, and are right now laying blame at every one else who has anything after their name. While I cannot agree with this tactic, nor am I under any obligation to defend any one else, I have no problem explaining the situation with the other tags that you're targeting.

The guys from Taiwan have that at the end of their name to denote their location. The members you speak of were given exclusion by JohnT, to keep that after their names. If you have a problem with that, by all means, take it up with JohnT.

The COW tags are being discussed amongst Leadership as you read this. That has absolutely no bearing on you, nor the |SS| tag you were wearing, as they are two seperate incidents.

Again, you were kicked specifically for responding to an admin request with "WTF", and then going to a different server to bypass the request. That's the long and short of it.

Indeed... Live with the decisons, and learn from each method of administration and forms of help.. Just take it in your stride, and learn from it. I mean this with the upmost respect for you.. but replying the way you did... well, You should know better.
