Cool Background

I just reinstalled Photoshop after not using it for nearly a year or year and a half. I decided to make a new background for my computer and I came up with this =]. Tell me what you think!

I really like it except for one thing:

The reach for the stars thing. The word stars kinda gets engulfed by that background bit you have behind the words, if you could make one or the other darker, I think that'd help it a lot.

did you just copy and paste that onto a black background?
you can still see the edge of the picture towards the top and right side near the lensflare

Yeah. I tried to add a border on the words, that helped it a lot. Before you couldn't see the end of "Stars" at all. I'll have to play around with it some and see what I can come up with =D.

What actually happened, @ warshy, I made it in a page that was smaller, and decided to make it into a background. So I copied what I had on that one and then put it into a 1280x1024 with a black background.

did you try setting it to overlay?
it looks kinda weird unblended

nice . i wish i could so something like that but i only have paint.net

Or he can just redo it in the correct size.. cuz the rays kinda will be cut off anyway whether or not he changes it to an overlay.
