UnXpected and Frank Booth go to the range

hmm, back when i was in high school, i usually have this some activities which is called "co-curriculam activites. A.K.A CCA" i join up NCC known as National Cadet Corps for my CCA. Basically its somewhat a programme for the whole 4 years of the school time how it feels in Singapore military. Being a girl, almost only a handful are girls whereas others are boys, THE MOST FUN AND INTERESTING PART IS, every year my school will sent out best marksman for a competition against other schools, so, when theres a competition, theres training. The school is willing to pay full price for my training without having me paying a single cent. They sent out 2 elite marksman for boys and 2 elite marksman for girls. Boys will be having loads of problem fighting their way through to get marksman. Me, its quite easy, cause theres only a handful of us. So yea, i did manage to hold an m16 , and of course a sniper rifle (bolt action). I did get a medal for being the best in my district. That was old times though, got to thank Frank Booth for bringing up old memories! hahaha =D

Oh yea, i was a Master Sargeant when i was graduating in my high school so yea.. hehehe. Toughens me up a little.. YOUR DISMISS MISTER!
 
I live in rural Kentucky and your strange if your DONT shoot guns here haha. People hunt from their back porch here, although the easiest way to bag some animals is to drive fast during mating season. I guarantee you will at least hit an opossum or skunk. :P

my uncle actually saves the casings at the range, brings em home, and he makes his own slugs...its a pretty sweet setup he has.
 
A few years ago, me and some of my buddies used to go to the range a couple of times a month. It's a fun and invigorating way to spend a weekend afternoon. I've got a short barreled Taurus 9mm semi-auto handgun that's served me fairly well. It's not the most accurate gun I've fired, but I like the overall size.

One of these days I'll have to dig up the pictures and vidoes I took when I rented a full auto MP5 at a range in Atlanta. But for now, I'll just leave you with a picture of my Taurus:

I went shooting onces in a forest
Its really fun onces you get used to it. I was scared at first to shoot the gun because I was scared of the recoil but overall its a blast
 
I live in the UK...so pistols are banned completely, not even the police have them :O

But I do have a shotgun liscence...and I go either clay pigeon or game shooting quite a few times every year and I love it. OK if you dont get the gun into your shoulder properly you'll end up hurting youself quite a lot but I do still love my 12 gauge, side by side shotgun :)

Most places aren't too bad just to shoot a gun you bring, but rentals can get pricey, as does ammo. That's what's nice about .22s, they're not much use for hunting (or fighting, for that matter, except for in full-auto weapons), but the bullets are cheap.

You see the first target, I fired the 9mm pistol 25 yards away and had a 1inch grouping (Group consists of FIVE rounds). We needed a 2 inch grouping to qualify while I was in the Canadain Armed Forces
With the FNC1 (has no scope) at 200 yards away we needed a 8inch grouping I had a 4 inch Markmanship grouping.

So I fired a few different weapons in my time, including the Howizters. It is fun and I am glad you had the experience to fire the real thing. Just remember the key thing is SAFETY
