Tribal Sleeve

Awesome. And other than the one I have for my Grandma on my right arm, I would probably get one remembering just a few dates in history....D-Day, Vietnam, Korea, September 11th. Something like that or maybe a meat tag when I contract or enlist

That would be awesome to see. I do some drawings the dream catcher on my left forearm is something I created. It is incomplete sadly. There is going to be an eagle feather connecting to the side of the dream catcher and hanging dowin. With-in the feather would be my fathers last name. Barnes. I am going to have to redraw the eagle feather but it will be worth it.

Native american fact:
In native american culture, no matter the tribe. Any part of the eagle is scared. Considered to be equivilent to the american flag. The eagle head is placed on a pole that is blessed and holds spirtual meaning and is placed next to the US Flag.

Any questions about native american cultures like dancing, singing, or even the ever popular powwows.

Powwows are a gathering of people with singing of the northern and southern styles. North style singing is the popular high contemperary voice. South style is a low echoing voice. Most groups now days can sing both. Dancing is always harmonious with the singing. Where you hear the drums, You will hear the clack or ring of bells of the dancers. In some cases. A jingle dress.

Let me tell you the elbow hurts. Well at least for me it did, some freinds said it doesnt hurt.

can u post the links to the sites with the meanings please (not to be mean or anything i think tattos are one of the dumbest things ever )

NFI that dream catcher sounds so freakin cool! I wish I had the skills to design a tattoo, I tried but it was pretty much fail. And I liked the lesson of Native American cultures, I had an idea about the Eagle and how sacred it is, but I didnt know that about the powwow, very cool. Zan if you are looking for tattoo meanings here is the best site I found (http://www.vanishingtattoo.com/tattoos_designs_symbols.htm), very expansive with well written definitions, and sometimes origins; and ya, thats ur opinion and you have everyright to it, but always make sure you say that about tattoos in general and not about a specific one someone has, cuz it could mean alot to that person and you could offend them. Just a word to the wise, not a criticism or anything.
