For starters, my DoD screen name is Pvt.NeckFat. For the last few days, I have been hanging out in your 24/7 Donner map. From my skill, or lack there of I should say, you can tell I am a newbie to this game. But I throughly enjoy it, and really don't mind being used as target practice. Just hope you all don't mind me taking up a space on the server...

I figure though, that playing with such quality players, like yourselves, one day maybe it'll help me, and I might improve.

But today while I was on your serve was one of my worst performances ever. It was nothing like the previous few days that I played with you guys. Granted I was rather weak then also, but nothing like today though. :blushing:

So thanks for not bumping me. I'm heading out to get a mic, so at the very least I will be able to communicate the next time I out there..

Hah, I need to visit Donner sometime now, I want to meet you, maybe give you some tips. We don't bump/kick people for being "bad" at the game, because at some point we are all newbies. welcome to the forums...im a noob here as well...been playin dod since before source..but went a few years without playin...point is..dont worry about not bein the best player...several of the guys have made it clear to me that the main thing is that you are havin fun and keepin a good attitude even when you are gettin your butt handed to you...which happens to me more often than not...just stick with it and youll get better and better...the main thing is learnin all the tricks of the map..once you figure out the maps...your play will start gettin better and better..and yes...playin with some of these eGO guys will help...ive learned a lot in the short while ive been around them...just watchin how they work the maps...feel free to ask any questions you like..id be more than happy to answer them...

Awesome.! When I put up this post, it was to say "hi" and introduce myself. What a warm welcome. So thanks for the replies and offers of tips n advice. I wasn't expecting that.

I did get my mic. So at the very least, I can now communicate with you all. I do have some chores to do this weekend. I live on 2.5 acres, and 2 of those is lawn. So once I've put a dent in em, I'll come out n play..

P.S We now have a Sniper Server so if you love sniping head over to the server, most of the time it's full. But if you wait long enough you can get it, and I have alot of fun playing with the =eGO= members plus alot of friends of =eGO= who love playing on the =eGO= servers.
