That seems pretty awesome. SOME protection against spies unless you hire a pyro to flame everything that even seems to be able to breathe.

no kidding. anyone know if shooting a sniper in the back has any impact on the shield? someone on shacknews suggested sapping it first, then stabbing :laugh:

A spy can just decloak next/behind you and shoot you with his revolver. Problem solved.

Came to do the whole "Let's condense threads thing," but I gotta do a big ol' QFT for Calle there. I lol at snipers who zoom in with backs in corners or on walls...I just get right next to them (if they're in a corner, even in front of them so they can't strafe/move away easily) and from the time the first revolver shot lands (the first instant they might realize that they are in trouble) to the time they're dead is about a second. (3 shots, from the first shot to last shot landing is a very short time, awfully hard to react in time for that) That's assuming they're 100% hp as well, and no crits on that revolver.

It's almost easier than a backstab.

But, back on track: Probably should let this thread die and scoot over to MIB's topic for all sniper discussions. Keep the forums prettier that way.
