I hope the build goes well for you, i say spending the extra cash on a great mobo is the way to go. the one thing i believe on spending the most on my comp is the board, you can always upgrade everything else if needed it's a pain in the butt to pull everything out if you end up wanting to replace the board.

ya its interestin. u & wall-e are always upgrading your stuff each year. even tho im in my 2nd year, i remember wall-e upgrading to the core i7 area, & now you are. ill tell ya 1 thing, when i get re-certified in the computer industry & get nuff $$, im gonna build a lil chop shop where ill build computer for whoever.
haha me and wally live in the same town, so im actually there first hand to see all his builds (or atleast when he upgrades)
so. sad news though. My dad has told me that i need to start saving for a car and that i will need to have one by next summer (so like a year from now)
And with the money im spending on this it would be enough for a decent car. What im thinking of doing now is downgrading some of the parts, and maybe go with a lan box looking setup. As much as i still really want to get this, its just a bit out of the question right now. Although im still probably going with i7 but just cheaper products. If i was able to build what i have, i TOTALLY would lol. but as of right now, its out of the question. Well more like 50% out of the question
