39. When running down a hallway never ever run directly behind people or in a large group. Always keep some space and off to a side. This allows you more reaction time to a flash and you can quickly spin around to avoid the flash. Often times the first few people will take a flash to the face, but since you're a little further back, you won't be affected as much. This allows you to cover your teammates when the enemy expectantly runs in. As well, since you're off to the side, you will be out of the way of the bullets heading towards your teammates and you can pick off the rushers (hopefully saving your team!)
40. Never underestimate the usefulness of a nade or a flash in the pistol round. Especially as everyone usually bunches up to throw as much pistol ammo down the map as possible. As well, since there are lots of pistols, there will be a lot of wounded players. I've seen some amazing group nade kills from ONE nade in the pistol round.
41. Don't be afraid/discouraged to wound someone. Your teammates can pick them off and will be grateful for it. So don't get discouraged if you wound lots of people and don't pick up immediate kills. If everyone wounds, then eventually you'll be able to pick off enemies and rack up some kills! I've seen some great teamwork with multiple entry situations!
42. Don't underestimate the ridiculousness of the headshot kill box. I've seen people crouching behind cover get picked off simply because the hitbox is so large. If an enemy is behind cover, don't be afraid to send a shot over his head. You might pick up a kill. Thank you, Dust 2 Bombsite B for valuable lessons.
