W7 RC + Apache

[mrcool]

Has anyone gotten W7 RC to work with Apache? I've tried 2.0 and 2.2; it installs fine, but even the default httpd.conf file doesn't work. I've tried several reinstalls with no luck. :/

I tried copying an older httpd.conf file so I wouldn't have to change all the settings, just a few (like serverroot), but it's gone totally haywire.

I know it's a RC so not everything it "supposed to" work, I'm just wondering.

Ah, I was looking for that but the newest one on sf's site was like 1 year old.

Thanks, will give it a shot!

XAMPP works just fine on Windows 7 RC. You can download it here:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/xampp/

Thanks again!
