Jarate...What now?

I kinda wish they didn't do this lol, now the steam forums have exploded and stopped working (or really slow)

I can't get it either. I've refreshed about 50 times now. Nothing. They may have removed it.

I hope this is some sick joke. The sniper already has a weapon that can stun enemies, the bow and arrow.

It is Jarate
Oh well! :P

"Jarate is a thrown jar that splashes upon impact. When splashed on enemies, they take 35% more damage for a period of time. Jumping in water will wash off Jarate. Jarate is also able to short out Spies’ cloaking devices. When used on teammates, Jarate will extinguish any fire effects."

Oh yes, jarate is so embarrassing for all the elite players, since playing cartoon games based on stereotypes makes them so above all that.

People can find ways to complain about everything, sheesh.

I'm above it. I can't have my manhood compromised by a jar of pee. I play my cartoon TF2 game while I'm driving my motor cycle, eating steak, and lifting weights. My dignity will be ruined when I get pee thrown all over me.

Ok, I wont complain, its not a stun :) yay for putting out flames and actually being a credit to team.
 
i'm totally ok with this update. I actually really love the idea of bombing groups running into my base on 2fort and letting them get mowed down by the sentries/heavies. Also I love the idea of putting out the flame on medics or whoever is helping me out. I'm curious how many we get and how the ummmm... ya know.... reload works.
 
It will probably act like the sandman with a recharge time. I believe someone guessed that it would put people out of fire (with the response of, "I'd rather burn). After 5 minutes of searching though I can't find the thread. Back from around April 1st somewhere. Well, to get our minds off it, who wants to start guessing how to get achievements?
