How do you all take animations of a video and make em a gif software please

I use a program called Animation Shop 3.
Perhaps you can try looking into GIFNinja or search for other websites/programs that allow you to do this @ Lifehacker. If you don't know Lifehacker, I suggest you keep up with it. They've got a lot of download links such as these for just about anything.

If yer lookin into gettin professional software, Adobe Premiere does much video work, including turning vids into gif. This is if you're gonna invest some $

I used to use image ready. If you can get ahold of an old copy of that it's really easy to use.
