Do you have phones connected to the same phone line your DSL is on? If so do they all have filters installed on the lines? If not, that is a huge source of your problem.

I have that same modem. Woodstock knows all.

have you tried bypassing your modem...like do you actually have multiple computers hooked up to it...and just for the sake of minimizing problem causers try connecting one just through the DSL (while using a filter correctly) directly and bypass the modem...if it works, i'd say its your modem causing the problems.

yeah, bypassing a modem solves my problems half the time. Damn things go out so easy its not cool.

With your DSL filters, make sure the cord from the modem to the filter is in the right slot. I plugged it into the wrong one and speed was a joke. Seems like a similar situation, but maybe not.

its your modem , im like 90% sure , go get an aftermarket one , and i bet your problem will stop.

Couldn't hurt to try new filters either. I used to have DSL and those damned filters would just crap out after awhile.

I had a similar problem to this, if that modem is like mine than maybe I can help
Anyways, with your computer plugged in directly to your modem, try pressing a 'Reset' button that is located on the modem, don't just turn it off or on.
If that modem has no reset, than I guess I cannot help :(
