When the new Team Fortress 2 update rolled out, the moment it was done updating I tried to join a game and it gave me an error that the server was stressing consistency with a water .gcf file. I looked up what to do and it said to verify the game cache. I did that and it fixed it for a while. But then later I got some fatal errors and tried to rejoin a server and gave me the same error. I tried re-verifying the game cache and it worked again, but after a bit my game started to redownload what seemed to be the entire game because the amount it downloaded was close to 7 gigs. I decided to uninstall TF2 and delete all source files from my folder and reinstall everything. Wen it was done I tried to join a game and it gave me the water .gcf consistency error. I reverified the game cache and it worked again. But if I leave my game alone long enough it gives me the error again and I have to redownload. So for some reason, something is messing with my files while I'm away from my computer. I know its not a virus. I know I'm not the only one with this problem so I think it has to do with the patch. Please help me find a fix, and thanks for your time.

I can upload screens if it happens again.

Last time I restarted steam, it made me redownload the game though.
I dunno its workin now though, as long as it is im happy.
