I got...
2.6 Intel Quadcore
4GB Memory
ATI Sapphire Radeon 4850 (can run all my games full screen 1920 x 1080 with highest settings)
Fancy blue lighting
DVD Burner with Light Scribe

All for roughly 700. Friend built it for me. You're only going to pay +1500 if you buy it from Dell, HP, Gateway, etc. They over price everything.

Thank you, but dosent windows 7 come out like later this year? haha

meh you can get a pretty decent system nowadays for 800 easily. I priced out a phenom II for just under $700 and that was without windows priced in on newegg.

1500+ is about what ALL of the systems i build come to....

XD I'm such a performance enthusiast

What kind of specs do your systems come at?

And to the question OP had earlier. Windows 7 does come out later this year, but you can Release Candidate 1 (Build 7100) if you look around hard enough.

Just build ur own and dont buy from ibuypower even thou we are Sponsor of them just dont buy you can build better with your self

nice :D im super jealous

anyways, you can find really really nice computers for about 800 dollars. you wont be getting top of the line, but i know you can build a computer that can run Crysis for around $600 so if you have that extra $200 to throw in there, you can get one bangin' computer. I would set up a list for you right now, but im on a laptop so its really hard to navigate around lol

Walmart pad? =P.

Hmmm... Still unsure of wat to get.

Windows 7 is free and easy to get. It only lasts until March, but is free until then allowing you to save some money up.

$1500 is pure overkill. In actual games, it will marginally outperform an $800 system on most resolutions. If you are driving 2 30" monitors, it's a different story, but for most of us with one 19-24" monitor, it's not worth it.
