I think this needs to be said, and if you take this the wrong way, then I am sorry. I am annoyed by many of the replies to this thread. I feel that there's quite a bit of disrespect in this thread. DjO posted asking for people who were from the Kansas City area, not people aren't.
In addition, DjO, I do live in Kansas. I hail from Burlington, it's 65 miles south of Topeka in Highway 75. If you pay attention to KU sports or the Ivy League (Particularly Cornell University), then I guarantee you've heard of my town.
