hey guys. will you think "great" if eGO Making a rotation map like dod_colmar and they others "orginal maps"?

do you hope eGO will start a server like this or only 24/7 servers?

i will hope eGO makes a rotation server like 300 minutes and is change to antother that will be awesome.

I think I heard that this was attempted and failed in the past, and that the only rotating server that we will be keeping is the Sniper Server, but you might want an official comment on that.

The consensus is that people tend to leave a rotating server if they don't like the current map, be it colmar or donner, and join a 24/7 anyway.

Its bound to happen sooner or later?....right? Most likely not. Its been discussed way to many times and has been rejected...way to many times lol. As cool as it would be it has been stated many times that DoD:s is at its "sweet" spot. I know I'm probably not the only one that drifts away from ego servers to go play some argentan or anzio or something a little different every now and then.

Also, I don't think many people are aware of the overall cost of getting a new server up and running. Perhaps someone could comment on that more as I am honestly unsure.

Servers are expensive to set up and operate in the first place, and then you also have to consider the "cost" of our members to get it populated. With a lot of people on that server, it draws away from our 24/7 servers, which are the backbone of our division. I believe that the sniper server took off because, at the very least, it's a fairly novel idea; give everybody a sniper rifle and one shot/one kill, and let them go wild.

I guess it failed. I remember playing it just about everyday, and there was always players in it. But I guess it wasn't filling up like the other 24/7s.

Remember just to stick by whatever decision is made guys, and if anything, we could add the custom maps of our 24/7 servers to make them Rotation such as adding the Flash2, Ice Flash, and Night-time flash, I heard there were some other ones too for Donner and Kalt, so they can be a test to see how a basic rotation server works along for us.

im not real sure that those count as a real trial for a rotation server ... even if they bomb ... people who love flash 24/7 might not appreciate playing it in the dark or on ice ^^ ... ah well ... maybe the poll will get us somewhere ;/

Ah, But if people dont like the different types of the same map, and all leave once a map they dont like comes on, then we have the original fear of a server becoming unpopulated quickly if a map not everyone likes comes on.

It might be cool,but it might be inconvenient because it will rotate maps,so it won't be like 24/7 maps.
