When I try and launch Steam it updates and after updating it shuts down, it's not running in the processes tab either in task manager. My account works on other PC's so I've confirm it's my PC. I also reinstalled Steam multiple times but nothing changed, what can I do? :(

You running vista?

If so try starting it in safe mode with vista, when you get in set it to auto-run and then restart in normal vista.

XP Pro SP3, they told me this.

Steam Support said:
Please exit Steam, then go to the C:Program FilesSteam directory (this is the default with a Steam installation - if you set a different installation directory, you will need to browse to it), and delete all of the files except for:

Steam.exe

And the folder:

SteamApps

Restart your computer and test the issue.

What would this delete? Would all my files for my games be saved?

well if im correct, it will not delete any of your games, and will still run.

To make sure, you can always copy the folder to a different location as a backup and if it fails, replace the screwed up one with the original.

I'd recommend deleting ClientRegistry.blob from your main steam folder.

I deleted all the files and still the same problem, waiting for a reply from Steam support.
Just wanted to check if any of you guys had the same problem and knew what's up, thanks guys. :)

for some reason, this has only happened to me if I have 'remembered my password' in the login box.

If that is......at all relevant.

the blob delete worked for me so....

Try deleting ClientRegistry.blob from your Steam directory, it forces Steam to update.

It works now, it just needed restarting and deleting all the files in the folder other than the exe and files in steamapps.
