$800 Gaming PC!

Quite a good article if I do say so for those trying to build a very near "no compromises" gaming PC on a smaller budget.

You can see the stress test charts on the last page and it ran Crysis /w DX9 @ 44FPS which I thought was pretty good for Crysis @ 1920x1200 resolution!

Hopefully this can help someone who's looking to build a nice, cheap, gaming PC.

EDIT: And if you have a bit bigger budget it lists some alternatives and other small upgrades if you have a couple hundred more dollars to put toward it which I thought was nice.

They also stress tested against other new systems to show you how it compares against higher end systems and the results are quite good.

Pretty decent little build. Though for what is essentially a gaming rig, I would go with higher clocked dual core, rather than the slower quad.

Wow, this is a much better rig than I made up. I be sure to get this instead, but Ill probably get a GTX 280 rather than a 260

Can you OC a 5200 to 3ghz? The OC on the quad is what will leave the $500 pc behind. I'd say that for $300 less you can get a machine that will play most games just as well, with the only real difference being in the benchmarks.
