In my college course, i am studying animation and game design. So as part of the course, i was to create a huge project for a 3 minute narrative animation in 2D.
So i decided to have my narrative animation themed around 18th Century pirates. I named the animation "The High Seas"
This is my main character "Guybrush Bildgerat":
I themed him round Forrest gum and jack sparrow. Although he aint the most intelligent of pirates, he always screws up but at the same time, manages to save the day. You will see a similarity to "Escape From Monkey Island" as that is the drawing style i embraced.
Here is his dreaded captain. Both of these characters were made from scratch btw.
