Steam login error!

So I just got a new laptop a few weeks ago and I now use it as my primary computer. However my little brother keeps trying to use the old computer to login to steam and play TF2. Sadly, I can't stop steam from remembering my account info and auto-logging in. I can't even seem to uninstall Steam (not listed in add/remove). It is so frustrating to be in a game and suddenly get disconnected with a little message saying "This steam account has been logged in at another location." How do I stop this from happening. Thanks!

On steam under File->Settings->Account there should be a "Don't save accound credentials on this computer"

That should do the trick xD

I thought that would do the trick but he manages to continue to find a way to log on although I am 100% positive he has no clue what the password is. When ever he logs onto his Windows account it manages to log on to Steam. It is really frustrating. I'm thinking the only option is to delete Steam because I can't find the "don't log on automatically". Is there a steam support option?

there isn't a "don't log in automaticly" option, but doing this *should* work

File->Settings->Account -> check "Don't save accound credentials on this computer"

File->Settings->Interface -> uncheck "Run Steam when windows start"



again, they *should* work... but if it fails... get a new password...

Yes K^^'s method is the right way of doing it! When you do that you could even change the password so he has no way of getting on!

No the wierd thing is I have changed the password and disabled those options but he still gets in automatically when he logs in. Maybe I have to do this on his Windows account and not mine?

Settings > Login as different user

On Log In screen uncheck Remember this password, then enter for Username: 123 with Password: 123, this is so itll try to log in and say wrong password so it wipes anything from previous account from being saved.

Do this on all Windows User Accounts.

Worked for me in the past, still works to this day, VISTA or XP

Stop him from logging in automatically. I think you are changin the wrong persons settings. Sorry if I have completely misunderstood.
