Ok, so i was browsing around online and found call of duty 4 online for pretty cheap. Used of course thats why its cheap... I know modern warfare2 is coming out later this year but while im waiting might as well get cod4

Anyway would you recommend buying a used copy? would i still be able to use the cd key even though it is already used by the current owner or am i going to have a difficult time with a used cd key??

That is a great question Packrat, I wouldn't buy it for that reason alone. I am sure that key will be used other than yourself. Which might make it difficult for you to get into multiplayer. I don't have CoD4 so I could be wrong.

I just know I have alot of CD keys for games that I own and used to own

I NEVER buy a used PC game unless it's Games For Windows Live, because I have GFWL keys from singleplayer games for their online.

Used PC is usually a bad idea, unless a game is under 5 dollars or so (maybe 10 )

honestly I would not buy it used as someone would have registered the cd key and thus its kinda worthless....... just be careful cause if they still use the key and they log on you will get kicked off...

never for a used pc game, console, yes go for it, because thats what i get now a days.

all my pc games are new, i even got one of the members here a game over steam.
