Seems that a new Metal Gear game is coming and the announcement will hit E3 this Summer. A countdown to E3 has been put up on Kojima Productions. Its a stormy sky that flashes the number 5 as well as a portrait of none other than Big Boss post Snake Eater. I for one cannot wait as Kojima is a genius and the Metal Gear series is one of the best franchises of all time.

It's spelling something. I'm gonna snoop around and see what letters have appeared so far.

It started with an S. I missed the last couple and now its a P
 
After digging, found that it started with a 5 or S. Then it went to E and 3 alternating. Now its displaying R and P. According to one source, you can catch a picture of Big Bosses face. I'm gonna go see if I can confirm.
 
i just saw a pic of raiden after the 0 or O and its obvious since his pic appears take the whole left part of the screen, but what im guessing is the countdown tells you when a new letter or character picture will be added

Old news for me, but then again I have a passion for everything Hideo.

Anyway, it also flashes a more high-tech Raiden.

Metal Gear RAIDEN anyone?
 
I am SUCH a big fan of the MGS series and I really thought that Konami was not going to be making any more Metal Gears after 4. This is great news. lol
