And I actually know of a kid a few years younger than me who failed kindergarten, so yeah, it is possible.

Yeah kindergarten is a parental dicision on pass fail well it's between parent and teacher, if a child has a little trouble keeping up they will hold them back just to make sure that they are ready for the more official classroom style of school of first grade :-D Thanks for all the ups for her guys!!
