fpsbanana = bad mojo

I just recently started going to fpsbanana to download new maps, gui mods, etc, etc... and every single time I go there I run into issues with malware up the wazoo. Is there an alternative site or some way to get around the crap that fpsbanana spews out every time I visit it?

This site has just a small amount of skins, but nothing compared to fpsbanana...and yes they have virus' in their website...be careful. Im not sure about the site i gave you, i have not run into any virus on that website yet.

I have been there and every skin I downloaded had a trojan or virus and just being on the site at certain pages gave me warnings and such. I googled and it seems others have this problem too hope it gets fixed, they had some cool skins there.

When i went on there Avast came up saying some sort of iframe thing. I just click close connection and I did not get infected

Yeah, I have a kind of internet switch thing on my computer and as soon as that window comes up, I just switch off my internet.

Deja got a mean bug from the site. I havent been to it in a long time. only used to go to get the maps faster then in game. Watch out for the site. its been like that for quite some time.

I'm fortunate that my web browser (Google Chrome) has a built in malware detector/protector, but still... I don't like risking that kind of stuff infecting my computer, especially consider all of the different programs and games I have installed at this point.

I don't have an account, it's just that every time I've visited I get malware warnings... so, I don't know...

If you're not a absolute moron you should be able to dodge virus
Scan files you are downloading before you open them
It can save you...
I have a scanner that is built in and scans my files before extracting so it's all good.

I gotta trojan virus from it luckily my dad was able to get of it and that wasnt very long ago
