So if we get more 'non'- English speaking people, does that mean we have to get 'non'- English speaking servers?
I'm all for going international but you have to realize. How are they going to admin English speaking people? If they don't know the language?
How are the English speaking people going to admin 'non' - English speaking people.
You can't always be around to hold their hand.
Does this make sense ?
I don't really agree to the groups, 1. They will turn into houses, like DoD:S use to have. More forums, more places to moderate, ect. ect.
More leaders? Good idea, but i don't see how it could possibly work.
Maybe we could have 'representative's' for each country? Like we have a list of people that are from those said countries ? And have links to their profiles. That way these people that 'kind' of speak English could go to those said people on the 'country' list? If they have questions.
Maybe I am not understanding the 'tittle' of this. Idk, maybe we could talk and figure out a way to make this work with out having the extra forums, mods, leaders, ect. ect.
I do understand your thoughts, and I do appreciate yours and everyone's input.
Please separate Non-US and Non English.
This is what I have said before:
The idea is obviously not to remove the English part eGO. I think 90% or more of our non-us members do understand the written and spoken English fair enough to enjoy the game and admins. The idea is to enhance our service, bringing them closer to the community, add Internationally to our community, generate more members and even coordinate local Events outside the US.
More things to Admin ?
Yes that would obviously be the case, yet we would have and or get the manpower to do so. People are willing to help!
Not about Interlingustic divisons
If any of our members don't speak English at all they would obviously not enjoy being here. The goal is to keep it English and help out people who don't understand everything and would like to understand more. Also the fact of having local Events has been spoken out loud for.
Even if a person from Sweden and another from Norway both speak perfect English It would be harder and a lot more expensive for them to goto the US for a local event and enjoy all what eGO has and can offer insted of meeting up in Finland or in the UK a gathering.
Admining our servers?
That one is easy. The criteria for being an eG/eGO should be "and probably is" is to be able to handle the English language both in spoken and written form fair enough to make yourself understandable and communicative towards our players on our servers.
Do I make sense ?
