Medic discussion....

Damn it s3rv0, why are you my main source of entertainment every night I come on these boards. :P

air blasters repelling rockets but not arrows
arrows that can stick you to a wall
double jumping in mid air
no one ever has to stop for a bathroom break.

GO!

R3PO servo is gonna come in and beatdown those arguments i almost gave it a shot but it wouldn't have been as funny as i'm sure he'll do so :P

s3rvo, I love you. I wish I could rep you for these.

But just for the sake of hilarity.

What about aimbots? Huh? HUH?

Alright, these are a bit more challenging...let's try.

Air blasting rockets over arrows: Ever throw an unfolded piece of loose leaf paper at someone? What if they tried to blow it away? It'd just go every which way because of the unpredictable air resistance on the sheet, and because it is too light to carry much momentum to overcome that resistance. Now, imagine rolling a pencil across the desk to someone who blew on it. The pencil would roll back, because of less air resistance and more momentum. The same is true with with the arrow and the rocket. The arrow is so light and has those neat little animal-feather wings propelling it in one direction, it can't be dissuaded at the last second like a heavy ol' rocket can. Take it from me, I took a physics class once, this stuff all checks out.

Arrows that stick you to a wall: This is what we in physics call the Bulletin Board principle. You use thumbtacks, or what we physicians..er..physicites..physicsologists...physics people call "push pins." You hang up little scraps of paper, reminders, centerfolds, what have you. But, with an arrow, you can "bulletin board" much more, like a whole person! Bigger pin, bigger bulletin, and this bulletin says "Watch out mate, there's an arrow comin' for ya' head!"

Double jumping in midair: Hey, there are plenty of double jumps in real life.

Okay, that's double dutch, but there's a hell of a lot of jumping and other cool crap going on there, I'll give them a pass. How about this:

See that? A clunky slow robot can double jump! And get made a king for it! So certainly our lowly, yet incredibly fast, little scout can do the same thing.

Never stopping to pee: Why would you have to? Every .5-5 minutes you and your bladder are gibbed into a million little pieces, voila, empty bladder, colon, stomach, you name it, it's pretty much just been emptied across the wall, the floor, your killer, and any other surface that happens to be near. Really, Jarate is only the next step in excrement propulsion in TF2, really it's been there for a long time.

s3rvo... lets do this.

Me not getting blown up by a direct hit rocket.
Me not dying when an arrow gets stuck through my heart.
A paper mask as a disuise, while to the other team, looks like a member of the team
Pyro making a fireball from nowhere on his hands.
Respawning. After being blown into a million gibs
Having to capture the same intel. I mean, what you need more than one copy?
After taking a bite out of the sandvich, it magicallyreplenishes the bite. Neverending sandvich?
Being hit by invisible walls in the sky
The heavy paying to fire his minigun...
The blu spy's magically changing cigaretter colour (he smokes brown, but they are white in the case...)

if the medic would have nurses, they should be there to watch the medic's back..
spies are just annoying these days :/

Players in TF2 wear some sort of super kevlar that prevents dismemberment until it fails spectacularly.

The arrow just barely misses the heart and major arteries, it only looks like it pierced the heart to the untrained eye.

Everyone knows that spies are masters of hypnosis. The masks he wears are actually post-hypnotic suggestion triggers. Is it his fault you have a weak mind?

Pyros know basic magic tricks and have a steady supply of flash paper.

Being blown into a million gibs was just a nightmare you had, when you respawn you wake up. It was all a dream.

Both teams have intel, when you capture it, some gets copied into your own intel storage device before the enemy's intel storage device breaks down from being released from the intel preservation field. When you capture the enemy team's intel, you're actually capturing some of your own intel back. All intel is useless without all parts.

Nanite Sandvich. When the Heavy takes a bite, the sandvich bites back to replace lost molecules.

Those aren't invisible walls, those are just well-painted walls that look like the background or sky. Never watched any Coyote vs Roadrunner cartoons?

Heavies are actually indentured slaves. When they fire the gun they are buying bullets direct from the companies that own them. Fire the guns too much and they will never be free.

Merely soot from lighting the cigarettes.

C'mon, give me some difficult ones to answer.

The Dead Ringer works by scanning the multiverse for a duplicate of you that is already dead. It then transports this dead clone to your position. This transportation process temporarily phases your physical being into a close-by dimension which makes you invisible and invulnerable to harm. When you become re-aligned with your original universe, it makes a strange loud noise.

Crits are the physical manifestation of luck in the TF2 universe. This universe is ruled over by Lady Luck. She is a fickle mistress that gives and takes on a whim. People who have killed many others tend to draw her eye. It's also where we get the saying "Fortune favors the bold."

The next question gets explained with midichlorians.
