Hey guyz, i need help to start a very simple homepage, when you just like login and could use a forum , nothing ells.
_ i really need help fast on this one
- Thanks guyz:thumbup:

'No Not really , im not much into makeing my self, or well i would if i knew how, but, if there someone out there who could make a fast one, its like i need 1 thing , and thats a forum with a log in. :s

There's a variety of different free forum software that is easy to install with lots of options. I would reccommend PHPBB, MyBB, or Invision Power Board.

Each one is different in it's own way. Just experiment with them and stick with the one that fits your needs.

Thansk dude, well , are those ones online forums, cuz i need them for my work , so ppl can login and write them on a event. :)

There's a lot more work that goes into this than you think...

It's not as simple as "hey guys I need this can you do it please?"

You need web hosting that supports whatever forum language you want to use, you need someone who knows how to set it up and then configure it.

It's not a 10 second job, sorry dude.

Invisionfree is very good and it is very simple. You can add forums and make it how you like it very easily and simply. If you wanted to make a full blown forum with everything including skin it will take you no more then 30 minutes.

I host my own forum. Here is what I use

A server (for hosting the webserver)
a program called "XAMPP", this program is free and it has FTP, Apache (the webserver) and MySQL.
and then of course you need to install your forum, I used PHP BB, rather easy to install.

This took me about 10 mins to do.

EDIT: If you do get a server, you could also host a game, like Counter Strike Source.

Yeeh, i know its allot of work, and i have tried to make my own , but every time i get to the forum it mess's up, ;s
, and thanks allot for the links, ill check them and see if i can use them .
but i'm new with the whole online web page thing .

Where are you putting this forum at CroowN?

If it's some free webspace from your ISP provider or something they likely won't support you running a web server, like Apache, from their space.

If it's your own server/office location you should be okay.

EDIT: After re-reading my first post I realize I came off a bit rude and snotty. Sorry about that, I didn't mean to - I only mean to help! :x
