HlStatsX - Not giving points for assists?

Hi,
I was playing on the 24/7 insta-respawn 2fort server earlier, and played as medic quite a bit. I got a fair number of assists yet my points went down by something like 400 over the time period, and my KD ratio was about 0.2 (after all I was the medic, not the heavy :)) and I lost loads of points. I thought HLStatsX tracks assists?

That being said it doesn't really bother me; I'm not great so stats aren't really important to me.

Medic assists give 4 points each, the uber gives you 5 points, destroying engineers buildings will also give you 5 points for the sg or dispenser, 2 points for teleporters.

However if you die a lot of times you will go down in points, seeing you are on instant respawn and you died 72 times (according to your last session). But you actually went up in points for about +150
 
If you want points, then the 2fort servers aren't for you. Give dustbowl or blackmesa a go, youll find some good high point players on there. :) If you do come to mesa, remember the following: IS MY VENT! :) have fun.
 
2fort servers have a ton of new players everyday and lower point players because of the constant chaos.

You lose points a lot of points
 
the lower a persons points that kill you the more points you lose

play somewhere that you kill higher ranked players

go onto high ranked servers easier points, if your playing in a crowded server you have a higher likelyhood of being killed .
 
You shouldn't be choosing what server to play on by which will give you the most points anyway...imo.

I don't want points, I was just wondering if medics actually got any points, because they weren't displayed if I got them (with a kill it says you got X points, with other things it does not).

I'm not, just curious about how the points system works.

It'll only give you that point notification if you're the one who dealt the final blow.

You still get points for assists and such, they just aren't displayed.
