Ugh, I just kind of feel like L4d2 is milking there very large console fan base and going with the momentum but w/e. I just want mah ep3.

i think valve is just acting all cocky now. they should have just gone with another DLC, i doubt any characters they come up with will ever top the first big 4. i mean, they are so lovable, how can they replace them so quickly???

if they make this game the same price as l4d, im going to kill someone.

They actually all work in the same building, just under different teams. It's not separate studios, but just separate groups of people working on separate things under one roof.

On the other hand, Robin's team, currently, is quite small, and they only reason the L4D team needed help from the TF2 team during L4D's production was because they needed help developing better netcode. Now they've got that pretty much down, I don't see why they'd their help even more, unless they want to make more FMVs or something.

I think I may have been incorrect and what is quoted is now true. Finding info on individual studios is rather difficult and sad since they are the ones actually making the games.

It seems that Turtle Rock was still separate during the production of L4D and may have been merged in soon after. I know this because some of the eGO members play tested it, and it was definitely a separate studio then, which I was informed has been closed.

Either way, my point still stands of different teams. Doesn't happen (much), and probably doesn't delay things much as is when it does.

It's at least refreshing to see that Valve is being timely with things.

From what I've seen the game is pretty damn developed. Hopefully they fix that horrible cyan and yellow shirt though. Yeah maybe this is why L4D got such little love. Besides I feel that the last few updates will be bundled in some form. I expect by September for all or at least 2 updates to be out.
