Gaming in the future? the PS2 Eyetoy has done hands free gaming way before Microsoft has. Also, webcams for the PC have had hands free games for a while now.

Anyways, the impressive part was the interactive lifeform, which could be used more socially than for gaming.
 
look guys it acts as a pet, can scan your face, be your (only) friend, control it with your hands... it even makes bacon while playing the safety dance!

fail, always looks great when everything is computer generated. Wait till it comes out and it will fail, just like the eye toy. The A.I. needed to do all of that would take a bazillion man hours to code. you could solve world hunger by then! And the dude that talks to yo reminds me of those dolls that remember your name and what your favorite color is. I don't know if you guys know what the sync is, Microsoft advertised it the same way they did this. Its terrible, you ask it to "call tom" or w.e and it will shut down, or send you to china town.

Just looks like as much as a novelty as the PS2 eyetoy was, with 2-3 gimicky games.
 
Its also so very late to be introducing this. Nintendo has had this technology, sort of, for a long while now. Now all the sudden microsoft and sony are jumping in and pulling out motion sensing capabilities.
 
Looks decent, but will microsoft deliver on it?

Best part of that was the question "How many pushups can chuck norris do?"

The difference between this and eyetoy is this is accurate.

Exactly, Microsoft is SO overrated and their ego is indescribably large. :glare:
