You have no idea how annoying it is that just because I play a game that is well made and fun I have no life. It'd be nice if you and everyone else wouldn't stereotype people who play WoW. It's just as easy talk about how people play TF2 for the exact same amount of time that people play WoW. They are equally addictive.

Ok, no, seriously. This is coming from a person who has 1300 hours of World of Warcraft behind him, a Level 80 character and 2 level 70 characters;

This game can be addictive, but most of it comes from the psychological side. If you go into this game with the mindset thinking "OMG this game is sooo good I'm gonna get hooked" you probably will. This is the same with EVERY game.
You can get hooked into Solitaire too if you go into it with that same mindset.

Don't hate the game - hate the player.

Oh shoot, wrong game. Basque in the glory of the proud and powerful frost mage Daca, who did Stupid Mage Tricks that made Faxmonkey look like an amazing mage. I mean only Daca would yell "Chuck Norris" into general chat before leaving the Barrens. Only Daca would solo run Wailing Caverns solo at lvl 60 just for the achievement, even though achievements wouldn't be out for 2 years. Only Daca made Arthas dream of crapping himself once.

I quit WoW after wotlk. Played hunter all the way through pre-bc cleared naxx, went into bc cleared sunwell and got some pretty high arena rankings 2.2k+. Quit a few times, then Wotlk came out and I got my mage to 80 cleared 25man naxx then realized the game wasn't fun anymore and the balance is completely screwed.

Currently Waiting on www.swtor.com or the new blizzard mmo
 
people who make fun of wow players are only mad because It took alot of their mmo's player base.

I figured this wouldn't really be reliable considering I have three gear-sets. :(

Main spec is Resto, geared in a little over half epics. No Superior achievement because of the bloody idol. (Which still remains amazing.)

Feral spec is 100% blues, it's maybe two weeks old and I haven't really started doing heroics as it yet, hoping to maybe find a Naxx-10/25 guild to run with since I've finally gotten better at my rotation and I'm pulling about 2100 DPS even when I have to mangle.

PvP spec is two days old. Spent 400g to get the entire Eviscerator set, got the trinket, now I'm just farming honor. Got about 20k so I'm not that far off from another piece (no arena teams because I don't know anyone on the sever- fairly new transfer).

But it is nice to play Feral DPS in Strand of the Ancients. I can actually take out siege machines really fast and they can't hit me with their cannons when I'm underneath them.
