Here's the simplest argument for any faster processor. If it's in your budget, buy the fastest you can get. There are two reasons you should buy fast:

1) You don't seem very comfortable with hardware, and therefore you shouldn't listen to anybody who tells you to overclock. With overclocking being an invalid suggestion, you need as fast as you can afford.

2) By buying as fast a processor as you can afford, you open yourself up to better overclocking later down the line. Someday you may want to overclock, and by having a faster processor (the faster ones usually have higher multipliers, and are more flexible), you have the potential to get a better overclock.

In summary, by buying a faster processor now, you'll very likely be saving the future you a lot of trouble. There. That's my sales pitch.
