Were going to have a little documentary action in here. Might I first start by saying this is VERY unhealthy and could cause serious harm to people with weak constitutions (heart problems, ect). Never stayed up a full 24 hours before, so Im just going to give a crack at as long as I can without coffee or energy drinks.

Day 1: Drowsy, Nausea.
Day 2: Mild Paranoia
Day 3: Hallucination
Im not going further

12 hours into day 1

The uneventful update, just a little drowsy.

You can def do it just don't sit down for a long time or "rest your eyes."

You can clearly do it...I've worked 60 hour shifts before, you'll be fine

Enjoy it!

Here's a great way to stay up: don't do any homework. Unfinished homework keeps me up at night, and it should keep you up too (homework can be anything like unfinished chores, responsibilities, etc.)

The most I've done is ~48 hours. Just don't sit for long periods or kill your eyes by too much tv/gaming.

Best advice i can give you is have stuff that will entertain you and that need your input ie. video games, hanging out with friends etc. Id definitively stay away from driving, if i stay up past 24 hours when i have to i already feel a little "out of control" have fun cuz after 36 hours its pure hell.

bad idea i saw the movie insomnia - scared me
lol u should watch it seeing u can really relate to it soon

I remember playing 36 hours of TF2 with chocolate bars. It was doing some health test I was doing. Needed to stay awake...

Have you ever watched that when actually tired! Its soo much better / scarier

I was on a plane flight to South Africa, and decided to watch it, so worth it

NOOOOOOOOO DON'T DO IT!!!!! as someone else said stay away from video games i've noticed when staying up and playing games staring at the screen hurts my eyes and makes me tired. . . . unless it's WoW then for some reason i was able to stay up for days at a time.

Good luck. I know of staying up for long periods of time night after night. I've experienced the paranoia, but never any hallucinations.

it get real paranoid when i stay up over a day, havent hallucinated but the paranoia is very prevalent.

Longest I've been up is 4 straight days of Legend Of Legia passed out holding the controller in my hand woke up 20 hours later lol that when I was 14. Strupidest thing you can do.

I've done 60+ hour gaming sessions before. Here's a couple of tips for ya.

1. Stay away from refined sugar, it'll make you want to crash in the end.
2. Keep yourself fed, you can deprive the body of sleep or food, but not both :P
3. Get outside and get some fresh air and walk around a bit every once in a while.
4. Coffee is your friend in the later stages, but remember always in conjunction with rule #2 and #1 if possible(I drink coffee black).

These are a few things I've learned in my forays into sleep deprivation. Oh and also, don't deprive yourself of sleep on a regular basis, it's really bad for you. :P

I stayed up for a week, had nothing to do with gaming, and i just so happened to be in Cancun Mexico... i will not post what kept me up, it defies our organizations policies....

Yeah I did this once WITHOUT any drinks or pills, that was before I joined eGO.......Actually it was only 2 days but by the time those 2 days were over I was pretty much ready for the morgue.
