I'm having trouble deciding between the two games, I know they are completely different games, but they are the two that interest me the most right now. I've been hearing good and bad things about Prototype and I think fuel just looks awesome. I have prototype fully paid off in a pre-order, but I could easily just go cancel it and buy FUEL, please help me decide.

I should have also posted a video of both

But by the looks of it people like prototype :)

Judging by the reviews...neither look like they are worth the money. Wait for something worth the $60 to come down the pipe.

I agree with Sexy Beast (lol). It looks to me like Prototype would get boring after an hour of playing maybe. It all looks like eye candy (and it doesn't even look that good) to me, with nothing below the surface. Sure, you can run up walls and stuff, but I read that even that isn't interactive. Hit a button, he runs up. Think of a more automated Prince of Persia. All in all, fun game maybe, not worth the $60.

Mind you, this is all from pre-release previews and such, but I don't imagine them changing big things like this.

either wait for a decent review, or go for either a prototype/infamous choosing or fuel/pure since both games are in each others genre & can be related in so many ways. just my 2 pennies.

Prototype is really cool, I don't know why the reviews I've read say it gets boring. Sure, the graphics a little meh in parts, and destructible environments would have been nice, but nothing beats the thrill of running up a huge building, jumping off towards a helicopter, using your whipfist power to zipline into it, and using the helicopter to blow up the tank that's been riding your butt forever.

IMO it's a truly fun sandbox game. I would easily give it at least a 8/10.

Runs smooth as butter on the PC too. No hickups even when tons of characters and enemies are on screen, pretty insane stuff.
