Please Help

ok well i am having a lot of problems

one thing i would like to get out of the way is i cant download windows vista service pack 2. The auto download hasnt worked ever and the download page for SP2 hasnt worked for weeks. I wanted to ask vista but to email them its 60 bucks! thats outrageous and i dont have that to spend . anyone know what i can do to download it?

Yes there is.

I also have this problem, it installs.. it says it needs to restart to finish it gets to step 1 100% then it says it cant install all of the changes and it reverts.

Have no idea what the problem is. If anyone could help that would be great.

Could be a lot of things blocking the download. You could try downloading SP2 from Microsoft's download page:

If that doesn't work, what error message do you get? We'll need that information before we can help much.

Also, do you already have SP1 installed? Have you checked your computer recently for malware/spyware/viruses? Have you tried turning off your firewall and virus/malware protection software when you're downloading the service pack?

Lame. I might have to reformat to get it.

It says page not found when i go to that page. Also I do have sp1 and I have tried turning off my firewall and have checked for viruses and such a day ago
