3 gigs or DDR2 800 RAM
1 80 gig HDD, SATA 1.5
1 320 gig HDD, SATA 3.0 (not in RAID)
PC Power and Cooling 750 watt Silencer PSU
Nvidia 280 GTX




New Build (possibly in the next few months)

Gigabyte AM3 ATX mobo
AMD Phenom II X3 black edition @ 2.8Ghz
4 gigs of DDR3 1600 or 1333 RAM
Western Digital Caviar Black 1 TB HDD

Might want to consider the quad-core if you do stuff other than gaming.

This. XP is a fine OS however has its drawbacks that will increase 10 fold when compared to Win7 64.

ya i have 1 harddrive with kubuntu, one with xp and i'll need to get another cause i am going to want windows 7

You can partion a single HD and run multiple OS's from it, you don't need to purchase a new HD for every OS
