Flash at Night

i know that this map has been brought up before...but i just thought that i would let everyone know that it is awesome...i played on it last night on one of the angry old farts servers...pwnin ppl and frustrating others for the full half hour it was running...gotta love it...anyway...the point is this map is awesome and i think i did eGO proud last night on my little road trip...

Great map and is a lot more challenging to avoid the lighting in the buildings. EGO should look into it.

Avalanche at night is a LOT tougher than the standard map; regular Ava already has enough dark corners to hide in. Muzzle flashes are the only obvious signs of people around you half the time.

As much as I would like to see these maps on occasion (perhaps on the event server?), I doubt they'd ever be fully implemented due to the success of the 24/7 stock map (and Strand) servers.

I did Ava at night, never Flash. Ava at night was pretty frustrating for a lot of the players, myself included. I watched players quit the game left and right for the couple of hours I was on there, and I suspect we'd see the same if we hosted it in regular rotation here as well.

The thing with maps is that people get good at them and pick their favorite spots to camp and such. For those players who are really into points and rankings (I'm not) I think you'd find them avoiding us if we changed to something beyond the basics.

I would love to see Kalt and Flash at night added into our Servers, maybe in 4 hr intervals. Day for 4 hrs, then night for 4 hrs. Thatway everyone could enjoy it.

wait there is night maps??? i have never knew that lol. i think we should add those to each server like night for AVA,Kalt,Flash,Strand, Donner, and do a 1 week trial and see if everyone likes it lol.

I dont think thats necessary, just keep it on the maps 24/7 Server. i would like to see different maps on a rotation server.
